Manchester Town Hall

Manchester Town Hall is generally considered to be one of the finest examples of Neo-Gothic architecture in the country, and is one of the most significant Grade One Listed Buildings in the United Kingdom.

In 2018 the Town Hall was closed to start work on a major refurbishment of this much-loved building, which is due to be completed in 2026 with a budget cost for the works of approximately £330 million.

Smithers Purslow are very pleased and proud to be assisting the lead architects for the Our Town Hall project with the non-intrusive surveying of the building and production of detailed restoration proposals.
