King’s Church

The design of the auditorium at King’s Church provides a space for worship that can also be used as a business venue and concert hall. The entrance foyer has a coffee shop that opens onto a south-facing terrace. A large multi-use meeting room on the ground floor facilitates Breakfast and After-School Clubs and a Creche/Nursery with its own secure outdoor play area. There are meeting rooms on the first floor for community use.

The building has been designed to be sustainable. The space heating is underfloor with a heat pump drawing latent heat from boreholes. Most of the rooms are naturally ventilated and heat gain is controlled by brise soleil.
