Remote Monitoring
Smithers Purslow Property Services now offers a breakthrough in monitoring services by combining wireless sensors with mobile telephony.

This unique combination provides significantly enhanced property monitoring, allowing 24/7 data collection over a secure, managed intranet. Installation of the sensors is made as simple as possible using wireless technology. The sensor units are battery powered and only require screw fixing in the pre-determined locations. The captured data is available to the client through a user-friendly database accessible only through a password-protected web-site, allowing easy access and ensuring total data protection at all times.

Remote monitoring enables real time analysis of structures, which has the benefit of tracking sudden/ dramatic movement where structural movement is a concern, enhances pro-active handling, helps quicker decision making and has the advantage of reducing environmental disruption. The technology is particularly useful for high level positions or if access is difficult such as to church spires or beneath river bridges. It saves troubling homeowners for access, reduces travelling especially to remote locations and sets a good impression to important customers or in high profile situations.

Energy Certificates
With the introduction of Energy Performance Certificates, Smithers Purslow Property Services has over 50 Domestic Energy Assessors to deal with Home Information Packs (HIPS). Energy Performance Certificates rate properties' Environmental Impact & Energy Efficiency giving recommendations on how to reduce both and saving money. We have recently started Commercial EPC's and also now offer Display Energy Certificates and Advisory Reports for public buildings.
