Insurance Claim Validation
Smithers Purslow offer a validation service for low value building insurance claims to verify the scope and validate the cost of repairs.
When buildings, landscaping or specialist commercial equipment is damaged, Smithers Purslow give their professional opinion on whether the repairs costs quoted may be considered reasonable.
Smithers Purslow assess the scope of repair costs in relation to the area of damage, and check that the reinstatement planned reflects the works required.
We are often asked to assess whether the damage sustained was caused by a single impact, or is more likely have been caused by previous unrelated incident(s).
Where we can demonstrate a saving to our clients, we will ask a contractor to offer an alternative price to reinstate the property damaged. When such offers are accepted, we will oversee the works right through to completion, and ensure that clients have their property restored to its original condition.
